Engelberg is located in the middle of Switzerland and is easy to reach by public transport and by car all year round.\n\nBy car take the A2 (Basel-Gotthard) to Stans S\u00fcd, then on the main road 20 km to Engelberg. Engelberg is 30 minutes from Lucerne, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Basel, Zurich or Berne. \n\nPlan your route using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ch\/maps\/dir\/\/Engelberg\/@46.8199845,8.3700793,13z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m8!4m7!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x478560a69df91f15:0x965760ad7275a194!2m2!1d8.4069869!2d46.8199317?hl=de\" target=\"_blank\">Google Route Planner<\/a>.\n\nNational and international connections (from Zurich airport connections every half hour with about 1h travel time) to Lucerne.\n\nThen with the Zentralbahn in 43 minutes through varied landscape and gorges up to Engelberg.
